This week in the land of new releases shall be dubbed “Add-on” week!  Well, at least in the video game department, because there really isn’t a full fledged new game coming out, but there is a bunch of new DLC for some of the biggest games of 2012 getting released this week.  First off, The Walking Dead the game is coming out as an all inclusive package for the consoles, Mac, and PCs, and considering that it won game of the year at the 2012 VGAs it’s probably worth checking out.  Halo 4’s Crimson map pack releases today, which will add three new multiplayer maps, and the new Extraction game mode.  If assassinating peeps is your thing you should think about checking out the Hidden Secrets pack for Assassin’s Creed III, or the Dunwall City Trials for Dishonored.

The Blu-ray/DVD new releases schedule isn’t much better than the new games coming out this week.  If you like foul mouthed stuffed animals you can pick up Ted, or if you like shaky camera footage you can grab The Bourne Legacy.  I’ve seen neither of these films, but heard that Ted is as funny as a three-legged dog, and that Legacy is more of the same.  Use your judgment while picking out a new movie to own this week.  As always you can pick up any of these recommendations by clicking on their Amazon images down below.

Video games to buy for the week of 12.10.12

It’s officially “Add-on” week in the land of gaming, so the only full game to buy is actually a collection of DLC via The Walking Dead collection from Telltalle.

Blu-rays/DVDs to buy for the week of 12.10.12

Potty mouthed teddy bears and a wannabe James Bond franchise are the only worthy home movies to add to your collection this week, and that’s a loose recommendation on the Bourne film.
