Dark the game for PC
Dark the game for PC

Gamers and movie buffs alike might as well plan on enjoying the Fourth of July holiday this week, because there really aren’t any must-have new video game and blu-ray releases coming out. Think of it as a week to get in touch with humanity again. One in which you can safely leave your geek den to interact with other members of your species to show your friends and family that you aren’t actually a robot.

If you absolutely must buy a new piece of entertainment this week you may want to forget about the blu-ray new releases, because they’re beyond forgettable.

Gamers on the other hand may find a few titles to enjoy, but there’s no new blockbusters releasing. Black Ops II fans can finally get the new Vengeance DLC, which comes out this week for the Xbox 360. If you want to go indie-style you may want to check out Dark, which is a PC only stealth game with a splash of RPG-action added to it. Finally, if you’re a PC gamer who loves fatalities, you can pick up the Mortal Kombat Komplete edition on July 3rd.
