There’s a variety of games coming out this week that may tickle your fancy, but I don’t know how you could be looking for a new game to play considering that Borderlands 2 just came out last Tuesday.  Anyway, if you really need a new game to play this week I’d recommend the following titles.  Soccer fans can pick up either the 2013 versions of FIFA or Pro Evolution this week.  If football isn’t your deal but MMOs are, then you’ll surely want to pick up the WoW: Mists of Pandaria expansion pack.  If beating people up mano y mano style is your bag, then you’ll be glad to know that Dead or Alive 5 releases this week.  If you’ve somehow managed to not play a single Angry Birds game yet, then this week will offer you a chance to play all 3 games in the series on your console, or the 3DS.  Finally, on the DLC front, Darksiders 2 gets the Argul’s Tomb expansion this week.  Not too shabby eh?

In regards to the Blu-ray/DVD releases this week I think I have to say that its offerings are even better than the new game line-up listed above.  That’s because this week The Avengers releases for your home theater, and considering that it is one of the most awesome geek movies ever made, you owe it to yourself to pick it up.  In addition to The Avengers, there’s another comic book film coming out this week for home use in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1.  Both of these will be in my collection by the end of the week.  As always you can pick up any of these recommendation by clicking on their Amazon images down below.  You’ve been wanting to watch The Avengers for the 4th time in 4 months…
