Wii Scores a Critical Success With Super Mario Galaxy 2

The follow up to Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii is pwning critics.  IGN has given it a 10 out of 10 making it only 1 of 29 games that have received that honor on their website.  That’s a pretty impressive feat for a Wii game, but anything is possible when Nintendo breaks out their famous plumber.  Even with the high review I still have no interest in playing this game.  No I’m not a Wii basher, I just can’t play games that don’t give me achievements for playing!

Honestly, I’m just afraid to play it because I know it’ll make me want to punch my eyes out.  These platforming games are hard as hell, and drive me insane.  Try going back and playing some of the old 8 and 16-bit games from back in the day.  They’re ridiculously hard, and make some of the next-gen titles look like child’s play.  I’m trying not to die from gaming, so I tend to shy away from strenuous games like this.  Yes, gaming does stress me out.  It’s a great life isn’t it?

Check out the video review below.  Super Mario Galaxy 2 really does look amazing for a Wii game, and if you’re a Wii owner, IGN is claiming that you have to own this title.  Just watching some of the gameplay I can tell that this title will test any gamers skill, but without any reward I will not take part in such tests.  I’m like a little kid, or dog.  I need some sort of reward to even perform simple tasks like gaming these days, go figure!  What are you waiting for, go pick up your copy now!  You’ve been slightly intrigued by a Wii game…
