‘Wolfenstein 2’ Devs Talk Dual-Wielding, Hatchets, and Nazis

If the prior game is anything to go by, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is definitely going to be one of the best games this year. Today you can check out a video that includes two devs talking about a variety of things: Nazis, Dual-Wielding, and Hatchets.

The best part of the interview was listening to them talk about why Nazis make such great enemies—how they’re the ultimate evil. There aren’t too many evil forces that I can think about that don’t have one single redeeming quality; maybe that’s what makes fighting Nazis in-game so much fun.

Beyond that, the new dual-wielding system looks like a ton of fun. Being able to mix any two weapons together is awesome! The hatchet is also pretty damn brutal—way nastier than the knife for The New Order—and there’s going to be plenty of them throughout the game, so, no worrying about losing your hatchet as a Nazi’s head falls over a guard rail.
