WTF: James Vega Will be the Star of a Mass Effect Anime Project

At SXSW Funimation showed off some of the work they’ve been doing on an upcoming Mass Effect anime series, which will unfortunately feature the steroid eating James Vega from Mass Effect 3 as it’s star.  This anime series is set to debut later this year, and will focus on the Vega’s past.  I find it odd that Vega was chosen for this project considering that he just showed up in Mass Effect 3, and for the most part he’s as dense as the weights he lifts.

Who knows, maybe Vega will work out in the Mass Effect anime project, but it would’ve been nice to see some of the series mainstays included rather than this bozo.  You can check up on the project via a video below from SXSW.  You’ve been wishing that this anime focused on anyone other than James Vega…
