Xbox 360 Dashboard Update Incoming: Brings IE9 and Music App

If you fire up your Xbox 360 today there’s a good chance you’ll be prompted to accept a dashboard update.  I’m not sure if this is the full Fall update refresh, or just an intermediate update, but it will bring the long touted IE9 browser to the console, as well as the new Music App that has been talked about the last couple of weeks.  You may also note additional tiles on screen via the Metro UI to enable more content to be shown on each screen.

The new update will also allow for more voice search integration with the dashboard apps, and it will allow you to pin your favorite apps together on a particular screen.  Keep an eye out for the update as it rolls out this week.  You’ve been refreshed…
