Reuters has broke a story involving the possibility of Microsoft exploring their options when it comes to using the Xbox 360 as a  TV show provider.  Supposedly, MS has been in talks with various TV outlets about using the 360 as a distribution device for their content.  I guess Microsoft has been exploring both a full on cable TV replacement option, and the ability to add programming a la carte with channels like HBO.  I’m cool with this as long as the content isn’t mandatory, and we as gamers have the option of buying it or not.  Sometimes announcements like this both scare and excite me, because I love having options but I don’t like being forced into using something I don’t like.  Stay tuned for further details.  You’ve been hoping that your Xbox Live bill won’t rise to $140 bucks a month…
