2K has officially announced that XCOM 2, the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, is in development for November 2015 release on Windows PC. The game will be set 20 years in the future where humanity has lost the war against the invading aliens and the XCOM forces have all but been forgotten. It will be up to you to take back the Earth from the clutches of the alien forces, so now humanity will be the invading force, which means resources will be much leaner, and strategies will have to be tweaked.

A batch of new screenshots for the XCOM 2 have been released, which you can check out down below. There’s also the official announce trailer to check out too! The game is set to launch for PCs sometime in November of 2015.
