Dedicated JRPG fans will be pleased to know that Xenoblade Chronicles X is alive, well, and looking better than ever.

In a new trailer released today, viewers were given a glimpse into the imaginative and mysterious world of Xenoblade Chronicles X. Similar to its Wii-exclusive predecessor, X looks to feature a massive world full of varied environments and exciting creatures.

The explorative trailer also features some vastly improved visuals over the original Xenoblade Chronicles. Of course, the improved hardware under the hood of the Wii U can be thanked for this, but it is nice to know that the series’ weakness hasn’t been overlooked.

Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t provide a solid release date for the JRPG, instead teasing 2015.

Stay tuned for more information regarding Xenoblade Chronicles X when it becomes available.
