The How It Should Have Ended YouTube channel has taken a different approach with its parody of Solo: A Star Wars Story, and how they think it should have ended. Rather than cooking up alternate takes on a few of the film’s more curious scenes, as well as its ultimate ending, the team got clever and used the film’s last moment on board Dryden’s ship to poke fun at Disney for all of the errors it made with Solo’s production and release.
They essentially use Han and Qi’ra’s final moments to question why Solo was released soon after TLJ, but it’s done so in a way that makes them sound like they’re talking about their own relationship. The team even uses that to question why Han and Qi’ra were even together in the first place and if their bond truly ever means anything for Han.
Outside of ripping on the film’s clumsy production and release, the parody also features a great take on Donald Glover’s “This is America”, which gets remade as “This is the Falcon” by Young Lando. Trust me, this cartoon is worth watching just for this bit, so head on up above to check it out.
